can this part be deleted?

Wanted to know if I can just do a straight tube connection. I am fabricating an engine cover. What does it do anyway? Any advise is highly appreciated.

yes i believe it can be deleted ive seen some cai that dont use that and its just another resonator

Oh I see. SO is this statement true?

The intake resonator is used for noise reasons, and also to tune the intake.
The high frequency pulse that is created when the intake valve closes is used by the resonator to created a pressure wave that helps filling the next cylinder better.

People do it all the time. It changes the noise. Be prepared for that, or test it first.

Yeah....found some photos from the old site :smile: Hopefully in time, I don't have to go back there and everything would be here. Love being here.....
