Is that like a creaking noise while stopped pushing and releasing the brake? I had that on one of my work Tahoes and it was definitely coming from a rear caliper. Don't know what was the exact cause. Have somebody pushing on it while you listen at each wheel. You could probably also feel it.

Mine used to do that sometimes when it was cold. It has gotten better since I did a complete brake fluid flush and cleaned sediment out of the reservoir.

On the driver's side the wear was super uneven. Part of the issue (I think) is that somehow the front caliper pin bolt didn't get put back on in one major service (that I did) so the caliper was rubbing on the inside of the wheel. I think the heat generated by that messed it all up and the pistons were sticking.

On the passenger side, one of the glide pins was stuck hard, the pin boot was destroyed.

And I got a complete fluid flush out of it at the same time.
