Replacing the front struts and I come across this fat spacer on the old. it wont come off. Is this anything to worry about? then new bilstein doesnt have this on the shaft. It looks like I need new strut mounts because that shaft spacer is missing on the new shock and theres a ton of space inside the rubber on the strut mount

I need to know if that spacer is suppose to come off. Nothing looks torn. This spacer looks like a bushing and it will not come off.

That's part of the mount. It ripped out of the rubber.

Use new upper mounts. That metal sleeve is in the mount.
