I like to make things. I especially like to make things that you can't get any other way.

This is more or less the same concept as the Belltech lowering struts, but more better. Not only the known characteristics of the Bilsteins vs. whatever mystery valving/internals Belltech uses, and cheaper, but these are also easier to adjust. To change ride height with the Belltechs you have to completely disassemble the struts and take the spring seat all the way off the top to change the spacer pack. With my modified Bilsteins, all you have to do is compress the spring enough to expose the snap ring so it can be moved to a different groove. If you have the right kind of spring compressor it can even be done with the strut still on the truck.

I only have this one set for me, no real interest in making more. But anybody can have this done - just find a job shop, have them copy the original groove dimensions on whatever struts you wish to use (.065" wide, .025" deep, .300" spacing between grooves should yield ride height adjustments in 1/2" increments).
