These should be ready to start finishing up this week. I will have "SS" and "bowtie versions for now but willing to expand the line to other models as we go if there is a demand for them and they are similar dimensions
(24" x 1 5/8"). These will replace the "tin" Chevrolet sills. I realize some people like to" make a lot of money" on their "creations" which is NOT my objective and why they are only $110 for a pair which includes shipping, powder coating, polishing. I will have 10 sets of each to start with and need to know shipping info and what type of finish you want in the paypal payment notes. This may take a week to finish to your preference after payment is made.

Cost: $110/pair (incl shipping)
my paypal: kdhwiz@aol.com (also my email address)

Noel I would have to see dimensions and style plus if there was a demand. That's a lot of variables to make it viable. ALL the TBs use the same 1 5/8 x 24" plate which replaces the stock "tin".

That will looks awesome with the ribs and bowtie polished. This looks like a potential replacement for my current "chevrolet" door sills as they are all scratched up.

I would like to see the set you are working on when they are finished :pictures:

Thanks for the compliment guys. I've been trying to move over more to the main stream more and more with my stuff since there are way more common TBs than SSs it just means that if I can sell more the cost goes down and I can sell for less. I had one local guy ask me if I was selling these for $150 or 200 range and was shocked when I told him just $100 shipped. He then said put me down for a set.

Its NOT about the money I make, instead, its about the friends I make happy!

Sounds good Noel. I'm currently up in Iowa taking care of some issues with storm damage on the farm and my 91 y.o. mom who still refuses to move into assisted living as we have hoped. Dementia is not being kind to us all.

hot damn, I posted my sills on FB and it went viral. All the SS logo sills sold out but I will get more made, just may take a couple weeks. I still have 8 sets of the bowties. Lower pic shows a "raw" version and lower one is powdered in Desert Night with polished upper.

I love the bowtie version powdered in Desert Night with polished upper, that is exactly what I want. I was waiting to see a pic of the finished product before I ordered.

Kevin, I just sent you a PayPal payment to the email address listed in your first post. I will send you a PM as well. Thanks again for offering an awesome product at a reasonable price

I know that some silverados of mid to late 2000's have the same door sills as the TBSS. But as of now I'm swamped with the work of getting these all finished and shipped out.

I have a black exterior, I wish they would have followed through and gotten the ebony interior, that black/silver plate would look bangin'. Yes, I am sorta-contemplating a mod. :rotfl:

Just had to include a price hike of $10 per set so now it will be $110 on future sets sold. Machining cost went up AND I now have to buy a minimum of 40 sets instead of 20 so a lot more $ out of my pocket to continue making these. I still have 7 sets of bowtie sills left on hand. IT will be a couple weeks before I get the next order in.

I know you said future sets, but I have no problem kicking in an extra $10 to help cover the costs since this is coming out of pocket. Let me know.

thanks for the help Larry. You know this site is so much more helpful than TBSSowners and no bashing or belittling.
Dave it's up to you if you want to kick in an extra $10. I've been able to use the 24" x 2" shipping tubes from staples for these which makes it better also than constructing triangular boxes from cardboard.
I'm now able to finish 1-2 sets per day with a better 2" DA for sanding and the temps have Been 10* less than 100, hope it continues this way.

I imagine if u started an "Interest " thread you might convince kevin to do the denali or gmc sill plates. Or I will start one for u fellas.
Thats a good idea. You guys could start a running list of who would be interested. Maybe come up with a certain percentage of a deposit to pay (50%?) since the money is coming directly out of Kevin's pocket and to show you are committed to the sale before production. I think sills with the GMC logo would look good.

I have already seen a couple members ask about GMC and Buick sills, so I am sure the there is a demand for the GMC version especially at the price of $110 for the set.

How do you do that? I'm new to this forum so I am still learning.
Go to Forums, scroll down to TrailBlazer, Envoy, 9-7x, Ascender, Rainer, & Bravada, then click on appearance and start a new thread. Title the thread something to do with DFWWIZ GMC door sills feeler. Start a numbered list to see if anyone is interested in getting a pair of custom door sills for their GMC for $110 shipped.

I saw DFWWIZ mentioned something to you about dimensions. Maybe you can remove one of your door sills to get dimensions for him to see if they are the same as the TB.

I know for a fact that my neighbor has exactly the same stock door sills in his 09 Silverado 4 dr as what is in my 07 TBSS. So the bowtie should appeal to those guys as well. Not sure if 09 was the only year GM decided to use those.
*On another note I had numbers wrong in my head about how many sets were left. I got 20 'sets' of each and was thinking 20 sills of each so I still have 5 or 6 sets of the SS now after posting on the various facebook TBSS groups.
Weather cooperating (not too hot), I can get 2 sets done per day and have mailed out 7 sets this past week. Its even gotten world wide attention with a TBSS owner in Sweden wanting a set.
Anything for other vehicles is possible with in reason. If there is a part which can be replaced like what is in the TBs with out hacking up existing moldings. I also have the front bowtie in the grill on the menu to get done soon-with SS or without.

I am out of the SS version for a couple weeks (they went fast on TBSSowners) and I do have 17 sets of BOWTIE sills waiting to go out to "new" owners. All I need is your payment and shipping info, and how you want them finished. They will be finished and shipped in the order of payment received. I have the next set going to Andreas in Sweden and last week I also got an order from an SS owner Russia.
This is really an easy mod to do. The molding pulls up once you pry under it and the 4 spots where the pin/clips are, and one push pin by the hood release is pulled. then flip it over, straighten the tabs to the "tin" stock sill and pull it up. The new sills have double sided tape, pull off the strip and set them down in the molding after you have pushed it back into place.

I'll tell ya what, I will keep prices at $100 shipped for anyone wanting the last remaining bowtie sets (15) I have on hand. I need the cash flow to help pay for the next run(s).

I also have money going out for an order of LED lights (Cree/drivers, signals and tails) this week and with my low margins its not like I'm making a lot of money on all of this. I do this because I like to, not because I have to. Retirement from 24 years in retail service has left me with the time to create and provide for those who want it all.
