Hi guys

I just bought myself some new rims for my TB ext.

They are VERY hard to get in Sweden, and buying them from US is not a option because of shipping and tax costs.

They are 20"/ 9" wide and have ET 25, I would like to have as much rubber possible without rubbing
against anything to much.

Does anyone have this setup, if so how big tires do you have?

As i understand it they will be the same on the inside but be 5cm (1,96") wider on the outside.

I was planning on using Hankook Ventus 265/50-20 that will be a little bigger than my oem setup, i think they would be 30,43" but
i would like to have 285/50-20 (31,2") but i dont think that is possible- And i cant use spacers as the rims already is 2" wider.

Strange thing this ET thing, if you have 8.5" with ET 25 the inner and outer measures would be the same as OEM. But if you have 9" ET 25 they will stick out 50mm more according to 1010tires.com offset calculator:confused::confused::crazy:

I'm running Toyo Proxes ST II 265/50/20 on TBSS Wheels (8" wide) with a little less than 1/4 " clearance on the Upper Ball Joint

265 50 20 is biggest without rubbing.

You can do a 275 45 20 which will be a little shorter but wider.

ALso on the 285 50 20s ive done on customers trucks you will need to grind the upper arm area to clear.

OK Thanks guys

Its looks really close on that first pic:eek:

265/50-20 seems to be the answer.
