bafx decision help

Wanting to get a bluetooth device for my android phone. Bafx Elm327 is popular on here. On amazon I see the bafx 34t5 as an option. is this just an updated version. Have an 05 envoy and 07 equinox.

I'm sure that bafx is good. It actually looks exactly like the cheap ones. Probably is the same with a different label.

They can look the same but not always be the same, that's the thing. Maybe the same circuit board, just an internal firmware difference, IDK
