Ascender tails

So I just found a junk yard with an '05 Isuzu ascender still with tail lights. My question is would they be a direct replacement for my '04 envoy XL, or would I have to get some new pigtails for the sockets to go between brands? Any info would be most helpful and thanks in advance.

They will plug right in. I believe you'd have to mod your pigtails if you wanted to use the reverse bulb in the Ascenders. You saw Northcreek's thread on this, he'd probably be able to answer your questions better than I can.

Yeah that true. As long as the they plug right in i can test it from there to get it right. I'll have to take a look at that thread again too. Thanks

It's almost a plug-n-go setup. The wires have to be moved around in the connector. I have had Ascender taillights on my Envoy for years. I don't remember what the original order was though. I tossed the OEM wiring and went with a custom setup from the start.
