Ascender Bumper on an Envoy

I was following an Ascender the other day thinking how much much better the tail lights look and planning my future mod, when I noticed that the rear bumper was different too. IMO it looks much better, covering more of the ugly bits and integrating the trailer connector better. Here's some pics I found on the web:

My first question is why did the Ascender get all the better looking stuff?
Second, I know the Denali bumper mod has been done, but has anyone done an Ascender bumper before?

I would hafta agree that the ass of an ascender looks a lot better than the voys. Hell even the bravada's ass looks better. Really wish they wouldn't have put the reverse lights in the bumper on the voys, and not made the tailights so 80's lookin. But nothin a lil vht can't do to the tails.

I asked this ? On the OS, but I would have to do more mod inorder for the ascenders bumper to fit my TB. I thnk it would be a lot easier for u since there basically the same it should bolt right up to ur voy. There add does look a lot better + the taillights. Try it bro and post pics if u do

Doing the Ascender mod wouldn't involve too much as it should just bolt up. Where I see the problem happening is where the wheel well is, the Envoy and Ascender have different trim lines.

Personally, the Ascender bumper doesn't look as clean as the Envoy bumper. Now, the taillights are a completely different story, which is why I now have custom Ascender taillights.
