Are all Dexron VI the same?

Just because they have GM's seal of approval for getting the Dexron VI designation, they are not created equal.

What that video doesn't talk about is how redline has a history of turning into jelly in the transmission pan
As someone who has put generic non-fancy dex VI in 1200+ hp transmissions...I'd be much more concerned with some other stuff versus just your fluid type

A. fluid level
B. fluid temps you allow the unit to see
C. filter and fluid change interval.

Agreed. I know a lot of people use RedLine, and I also know a lot of people that refuse to use RedLine..

For me, for trans fluid, I use only Mobil, or OEM... Unless I am in a pinch.

SuperTech I know is a rebottled version from another brand, but I cant remember who... I think it is Exxon or Pennzoil.
