Air horn installation

About a week ago I picked up an air horn off of a semi at a junkyard. Over the past few days I’ve been finding time to install it after work and last night I finished it up. It’s a Hadley 29” horn mounted to a 2 or 3 gallon tank with a 150 psi compressor. I didn’t want to put the horn in the spare tire location because it’s a beautiful horn and I didn’t want it getting covered in salt in the winter, and I wanted the sound to still project forward, or at least from the front of the truck. So I found some space under the hood.

So you have it hooked up to the regular horn button? Should make people move

Nope. Horn is completely analog. I have a pull wire hooked to an air valve. Both horns are fully and separately functional, but yes, it’ll make them move. :2thumbsup:

We always make fun of the air horns at the truck shows...

I can still hear in my head @Regulator yelling...."The horn blows, does the driver?"

Same as truck nuts. Y'all should hear what he has to say about them....
