Air Conditioning Condenser

I went in to have my Envoy's air conditioning evacuated and recharged on Friday. The shop charged me $68 but didnt really do much at all. They said the condenser was leaking and to replace it, which they said was a four hour job plus parts. Is there a system sealant that works in AC? Is there a step by step procedure somewhere for replacing that condenser? I would think of tackling it myself if i knew what the steps were. What do you recommend I do? They quoted me some outrageous price of around $700 to get that done.

No, especially not on a hard part. Some sealants might work on gaskets seals only but are considered snake oil.
