Hey guys, I've installed a double din deck witch back up cam, I used the right interface so I can keep all the factory options. When I installed the interface I had to install a seperate small box for the chime. Now that I have this aftermarket chime, my truck now has 2 chimes, it still has the factory one and this aftermarket one. Is this normal, or did I not need the aftermarket chime? I only installed the chime base on what I was told I need for the install from the vendor.

On a side note the aftermarket chime was super loud. I had to put tape over the speaker outlet to quiet it down, hoping that won't wreck it?

Thanks for the help

Yours has bose, right? If so, they should have gave you the one without the chime box. This is kind of interesting that it works with the bose system. What interface are you using?

No I haven't found the reason why I have two chimes, I'm just going to live with it for now. When I get some time I think I'll try and disconnect the after market chime, and go from there.
