AC Delco fuel pump made by Bosch?

I just received a fuel pump from an ebay seller and it's supposed to be a new AC Delco fuel pump. It was an open box sale for less than half price of sealed unit. So I receive it and it came in an AC Delco box but the pump clearly has a Bosch label on it. I questioned the seller and was told that Bosch makes this fuel pump for AC Delco. I'm still not convinced. Years ago when I worked as a contractor for GM engineering, AC Delco parts could be made by other vendors however they had to be made to AC Delco specs and standards and not labeled with the vendors name or logo. Have things changed since I've been out of the game?

Can't say for sure on this particular pump but I see a GM number on that Bosch label..
Bosch does sometimes make pumps for GM... as well as injectors, ABS parts, etc....

You should be able to cross those numbers online...

The GM number on the Bosch model refers to the sending unit from what I search.

When I replaced the fuel pump in my Envoy a few years ago, I had Bosch & ACDelco to choose from. Bosch was cheaper but I like ACDelco better. I bought the ACDelco and when I opened the box and looked at the pump, it had a Bosch sticker on it. I went back to the store and asked to look inside another ACDelco box and it too was labeled Bosch. I told them in that case, give me the Bosch pump and refund me 30 bucks. It had the same Bosch part number on the sticker as the ACDelco.
