Ok here is what is going on. When you turn the A/C on the drivers side is warmer than the passenger side. Then noticed the other day that when you turn the defrosters on the passenger side does not defrost the windshield like the drivers side will. WTH!!! My guess would have been actuator until the defroster on the opposite side started acting dumb. Anyone else have or had this issue??

On most Dual HVAC vehicles (Auto or Manual controls) when the freon gets low the temperature between sides can be different, usually in the manner you described.
Not sure why the defroster is behaving that way but could be related.

I would get the A/C charge checked. Prior to that, check the A/C temperature out of the outlets at a lower fan speed and see if the temperature evens out, if it does, freon is probably low.

Should have mentioned it before. I did have the charge checked and it does have the right amount of pressure. I have a friend that has a shop and he pulled the system down and recharged it when I replaced my engine for me. I have been having this issue for over a year now. Just noticed the defrost portion though.

Quick question for ya, is the defrost blowing harder on one side than the other. I am not sure if there is one duct off the HVAC to the defrost or two but the doors inside the HVAC system have foam on them and a piece may have come loose and is blocking the doors from sealing and such...

I will check that and re-post results later.
