GT5, desirable yes, but to me the GT4 is the better all around gear, especially with the G80. GT5 is better for the grunt and tow, IMO, but I am not gonna do that with my girl's TB. I have the 3.42 gears in my 05 Z71 and wish I had the 3.73 gears, like I had in my 2002 LT.

If someone had the money and wanted to be prepared for the inevitable, buy the 4L60 for $200 to $250-no more, and build it out right and have it sitting at the ready. Again, IMO.
