Apparently, Chevy is going to put out another EL Camino in 2026 and buyers will have a v6 option as well as a v8 option.

Here's the pic I saw showing the body style...

Is this verified as real? Lots of fake AI stuff coming out lately.

I dunno. It looks like a cut up Blazer.

Looks like something that can't decide what it wants to be.
And I'll leave it at that.

Gack! Here's the same thing as an EV
:puke:

Looked for anything official from GM and I can't find anything. I think it's all AI generated BS. The last GM produced cruck (car/truck) was the Holden Ute which ended production in 2017.

I was one of the few that actually had a pre-production order in on the Pontiac G8 Ute... Glad they didnt ask for money down.

I think everything is going to be going the way of the EV except for work based vehicles.

This couldn't be any more wrong if it tried:

the Holden ute was a kit car based on the Pontiac gto as a base

This is true, they are making them in 2026 again:
That channel AI's everything. Right at this moment GM hasn't confirmed anything about a 2026 El Camino, despite a lot of speculation, rumours and bullshit.

AI slop! Here's what they "predicted" for 2025, a "new?" Eldorado?

They didn't even put in a modern power plant! Freaking AI junk videos.

I don't know why they didn't do this back in 2010 when the 5th general camaro came out. They already made the Holden UTE which is an el camino on the same platform as the camaro. Just swap the body from the camaro and bam, el camino. Give it a truetrac rear end and it would actually be kind of practical.

It was actually based on the Commodore platform, not the Camaro, which was built is Oshawa, Ontario.

The Holden Ute was a popular Australian coupe utility (car-based pickup) produced by Holden (GM's Australian arm) from 2000 to 2017, known for blending sports car performance with utility, sharing platforms with the Commodore sedan and featuring strong V6/V8 engines, often with high-performance HSV versions like the Maloo. It was essentially a car with a pickup bed, offering sporty handling and powerful engines, making it a unique and iconic Australian vehicle that was never officially sold in the U.S.
