NEED HELP 2013 Silverado

first time ever happening. I drove to work and everything was fine.. I left to go to hardware store and noticed a grinding and popping noise started and then went away. Drove about 3 miles to store and was fine. Came back out and it didn't it again for about 4 blocks and then was fine. This is happening on front driver side. Any ideas?

Could be anything. Check for bearing play, check cv axle joints, check brakes.

My 07.5 had severe bearing failure resulting in the wheel wobbling and making some terrible grinding noises about a year ago.

Thanks for your input.. I'm not a mechanic but I was also thinking bearing but haven't noticed an noises at all leading up to this point.

Mine didn't either. No warning, perfectly quiet, then it popped and started grinding horribly.

Had the very same experience here on a 2003 Silverado... and I sorted it all out this way with some help from some GMTN Brothers:
