I'm looking for some ideas for my suburban. Wanting custom bumpers. It has two hooks in front and a hitch in the rear but I would like to get a custom look. Thanks

Looks like there are a couple options for body kits I came across on carid.com. DuraFlex has a complete body kit with front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, and also offer a hood. Street Scene offers a front bumper, side skirts, and wiper cowl.

Here is a link to the different body kits, hoods, etc. http://www.carid.com/2010-chevy-suburban-body-kits/

You could also mix and match the kits based on which front bumper and side skirts you like. Street Scene wiper cowl looks good as well.

Are you running stock wheels and tires? Is it currently lifted, lowered, or stock? Do you happen to have any pics of your Suburban currently?

I appreciate the help. Right now everything is stock. I can take a few pics tomorrow. I'm thinking of going with some bumpers and a new grill. I would like to lower a bit but probably more leveled than lowered. Wheels are in the plans but I would like to start here first.

That kit looks really good. But since I have the towing package I'm not sure if they will work for me.

Good point, I doubt DuraFlex rear bumper will work for you. You could always go with a new front bumper and side skirts. Sorry forgot about the grille, http://www.carid.com/2010-chevy-suburban-grill/

I kinda like the T-Rex- 1-Pc Upper Class Black Mesh Grille, similar to what I have installed on my TB. Gets rid of the bowtie and "window frame" looking grille. There are quite a few other options for grilles. The Fuel brand look interesting depending on how you feel about chrome.

Are your stock wheels 18" or 20"?

The second link works.

I like those in black and the black/chrome, maybe the 20x10 since the vehicle is so large. What color is your Suburban? If it is black, I like the "blacked out" look on Suburbans.

Depending on your budget, you could get by with 22" or 24" wheels.

What is your bolt pattern for your wheels? I think the 22" TBSS replica wheels would look good too. Below is a pic of them. I know that is a Tahoe in the pic, but just to give you an idea.

Lighting is also good way to customize your ride. Replace all of the incandescent bulbs with LEDs (Interior lights, turn signals, etc). Carid.com has a couple nice sets of fiber optic LED tail lights that are direct replacements (Wish they made them for the TrailBlazer) and also regular LED tail lights. http://www.carid.com/2010-chevy-suburban-taillights/

You could also swap the headlight assemblies with projector headlight assemblies or you can just upgrade your halogen headlight bulbs to HID or LED headlight bulbs. Also, swap the halogen fog light bulb with na HID or LED bulb. Huge light output improvement over halogen bulbs. http://www.carid.com/2010-chevy-suburban-headlights/

TB wheels are 6x5, most every other GMT uses 6x5.5 bolt pattern.
