Well it was a long day on this one, but still was a pleasure to do! I took these pictures with a new camera, but I'm not happy with it at all. I'm going back to my old one.... Anyway this thing was so big that myself and a buddy of mine ended up cutting 2 inches out of my awning so I could do it in the garage. Now I don't have to worry about anything just squeezing in there anymore. Here are the pics.

I like the Raptors, but as mentioned, I would be afraid of breaking any Ford with a Frame under it.. They just dont build em like they used to..

Nice detail job!

While I am not a real fan of the Raptor, I can appreciate it for what it's worth to other enthusiasts.

What did you use on the black plastic body molding? I'm always looking to try new products.

I used ultima trim guard plus. It's kinda expensive, but it lasts a long time and is really good.

It's just too bad that their frames can't handle the hype that FORD claims they can...
Click HERE for more info...

Running at close to 100mph into a straight one foot vertical curb isn't exactly typical to Ford's "claimed" use. You beat on it like anything else and it'll break, but it'll take a lot more than a standard half ton from Ford or anyone else. The fact that this is VERY OLD news and that despite a recession and high fuel prices that they continue to fly off the lot without substantial changes after Ford investigated this situation is a pretty good indicator on how relevant these complaints actually are.

Great work on the detailing, just wish I was closer.
