Browsing for years, first post.
Inherited dad's 2010 reg cab 2500. Remote start only blinks the lights, no start. Fixed tpms, no other errors, no change. Tried second fob, it works! Fob 1 does everything, lock/unlock/panic, blinks lights like it's going to start, but doesn't crank. Scrolled through the very basic DIC and saw LEARN REMOTE. Tried that, learned both remotes (first try only did 1, only 1 would work). Now neither Remote will start the truck🤦 Liftime GM guy. Have never encountered anything like this before.
Thanks for your support!

Now that the second fob doesn't work, I wonder if maybe it's a conflict with the same fobs learned twice or not learned correctly. Found these programming instructions:

How to Program a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Keyless Entry Remote Fob Smart Key

Step by Step How to Programming Instructions:

Use this Procedure for Vehicles with Driver Information Center Buttons
1. Insert Key and turn to ON position so you can access Driver Information Center

2. Press the vehicle information button until PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY displays

3. Press the set/reset button until REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE displays

4. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the keyless remote at the same time for approximately 15 seconds. A chime will sound indicating that the remote is programmed.

5. To program additional remotes at this time repeat step 4. This vehicle can have a maximum of eight remotes programmed.

6. To exit programming mode turn key off and remove key. Test remote(s).

Step by Step How to Programming Instructions:

Use this Procedure for Vehicles without Drivers Information Center Buttons
To access this display, the vehicle must be in Park (P) with key in the on position (as far as you can go without cranking engine).

1. Press the trip odometer reset stem until RELEARN REMOTE KEY displays.

2. Press and hold the trip odometer reset stem for three seconds. The message REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE will display.

3. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the first keyless remote at the same time for approximately 15 seconds. A chime will sound indicating that the remote is programmed.

4. To program additional remotes at this time repeat step 3. This vehicle can have a maximum of eight remotes programmed.
5. To exit programming mode turn key off and remove key. Test remotes.

Might need to go to a dealer or find someone with a Tech 2 or other high end scanner to have all the fobs erased and relearn them. Or you could find a couple of other fobs, learn those and see if that works. Found these on Amazon.ca. Not bad at $24 for the pair:

Thinking some more out loud. Check that there isn't something not working right. It can be picky if there is something out of place like a pending or active code or a weak battery.

Thanks for the thoughts!
It has the trip reset button only. Used that procedure. Thought the tpms light was at fault. Fixed that, still didn't work. But then remote 2 did work(first time i had tried it). So tried the relearn. Now neither will start it. Did an obd2 scan, no codes. Nothing happens during the learn after about 3 seconds, (doesn't take 15) I'm guessing that's because the remotes are previously learned. I'll try taking batts out for a while, see if I can reset the remotes. Zero interest in going to the dealer. Lol.
