SO, I have problem with 6l80 tranny in Escalade 2007. The main symptoms/ delay shifting from 2-3 gear but only when box is hot 60°C- (140°F)- always happens at light throttle +-3000rpm, +-20mph, also changing gears after that is no smooth. When I reset adaptapts car i running very smooth till first delay between 2-3 than after looks like ETC trying to compensate this and changing adaptations than I am getting knocks when shifting. Overy couple of weeks its throwing random codes for solenoid P0797, P2715 and other-for different solenoids. I've already changed valve body without TEHCM (second hand unit), replaced laminated discs in TEHCM, but problem is still the same. I am in Belgium, so there is no mechanics with the experience with USA cars. Does anyone have any suggestions, or have similar issue? SHould I concentrate on solenoids or search the problem in the mechanics of the box? Thanks in advance for all the suggestions.

Hello and welcome! Hope everyone is safe and healthy in your corner of the world.

If you are getting multiple codes for transmission issues, sounds like you are having electrical issues. This could be a wiring or connector issue. Please read these threads which discuss these issues:
Transmission with multiple codes
Another Transmission with Multiple codes
More Multiple Codes

Although they are not for the same transmission, the principles should be the same. Unfortunately, beyond that, I'm afraid we don't have much experience with this transmission.

How many miles/KM does it have? It might need a rebuild but unfortunately for you, not too many people with the knowledge to do it. Are there no GM dealerships? If there are, you might be able to get a rebuilt tranny as an exchange. Check for truck equipment dealerships that sell and service GM service vehicles like vans. Maybe look to other European countries that may have more GM products, parts and service.

The truck have +-160k miles on the clock. Believe me there is no GM USA dealership in Belgium and surrounded countries. LAst Cadillac dealer (at the Opel garage) was closed last year. There are some independent garages specialising in USA cars but usually they don't wanna deal with gearboxes, and if they do they ask for ridiculous money. I have quite wide mechanical knowledge (daily designing power transmission parts for railways), that why I will try to tackle problem myself. I prefer to find some suggestions before I start collecting all parts (all need to be imported from USA- you can buy something in europe but usually for triple price and the same long delivery time because the seller need to import this also ) because you guys in US deal with this cars in daily basis. I am now in the stage of making the list of needed parts for this repair-sometimes I need to wait 3 weeks for the part to come, so I wanna be prepared before I drop transmission down.

RockAuto does have rebuild kits available:

Shipping will still be expensive but a lot of guys in EU use them. Also, they have a 5% discount code here to save a little (it's expiring tomorrow however they usually post new ones):

There are a few YT videos that show the rebuild process.

Another option would be to find a used one but they're probably just as rare and expensive.

I'm not saying this is your issue, but on my 4L60E when I had a delayed 2-3 shift it was my seperator plate.

Does the RPM's seem to jump up slightly during the shift?

This was my 2-3 flare, happens at the 0:14 sec mark. Does your trans act the same?

At 3500 RPM in 2nd is where the tach jumps up during the shift.
