Hi. I am looking at possibly getting one with 139,000 miles for $14,000. What do you think? I looked at it today and drove it. Drives fine. No noises or anything. Looks pretty clean, except the clear coat on the hood is peeling on the top right corner. The car fax is clean. Do you think it's a good deal. Any suggestions?

Too many miles for the price IMO even though it is a Cadillac.
Yes that is what I was thinking. Thanks. I also looked at a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali with 144,000 miles. They are asking $17,900 which I think is too much.

Is there a reason your searching for a full size suv?? You can find a nicely built tbss for $17k.

I had a TBSS. Sold it to my brother. I am also looking at a 2007 Acadia with 91,000 miles. Asking $16,500. I do search and rescue and need something that could haul stuff without struggling.

Perhaps because the 'Slade is far more truck and far more luxiourous than any TB, and he'll probably get better mileage to boot. I wish I had bought full size long before I did.

Actually does not sound bad. 14K is asking, so knock em down a bit.

I would not get an Arcadia if you are looking for hauling and not struggling. Its a freaking crossover not an SUV or truck.

I'd bet on it, or at least the same mileage. Look at all the complaints about the mileage a lot of TB owners are getting. I get better mileage with my Sierra crew cab 5.3, 3:73 rear end than I did with my TB EXT, 4.2, 3:42. It struggled to get 13 in the city and 19 on the highway. I easily get 14/15 and 20/21 with my Sierra. And the Sierra is a heavier truck with the 4L60E. I can only imagine that a 6 speed is going to show an improvement over what I get now.

So I got them down to $10,000 for the Escalade. I got another dealer down to $16,000 for a 2007 Yukon Denali. I do like the Denali better. Decisions decisions.

Looking at a 2008 Avalanche LTZ with 140,000. That is high miles. I got them down to $15,000. It is very clean. It is burgundy. What do you guys think?

:pictures: help. Buying a vehicle with over 100k can be a great choice or one you regret. How many miles a year do you drive? Do you want to make payments (assuming) on a vehicle with 175k miles? A domestic too nevertheless. :twocents:

Get the Caddy. Seems like the better deal of the 3. Never seen a S&R Cadillac before.

Some of the best vehicles I've owned had near or over 100k on them when I bought them.

For the money, I'd be going for the Caddy.
