2004 trailblazer no crank not start shifter stuck in park

I have a 2004 trailblazer pull Out of driveway the car suddenly just shut off I attempted to start it
the car won’t start or crank put Shift in park and attempted it to start it again And won’t start
brake pedal is very hard and gear shifter will not move from park ......the truck is not in gear I was able to pull into drive way with other car

Is your key stuck in the ignition? Check the battery, its connection and all fuses. Next would be to check the output of the ignition switch in the column.

Also check under the vehicle where the shift cable is attached to the trans. The end of the shift cable could have come off the trans, the bushing is replaceable if that's the issue.

Might get a bit more response if this was in the correct forum? Currently in the GMT800/900, not the GMT360.
