It is finally time. I bought myself a new truck the other day and now comes time for me and the dear little envoy to part ways. It has been good, if somewhat gremlin persisted beasty like most GM vehicles of its day and age. I could keep it and use it for mountain outings, but I feel it will mostly just be taking up space. So, I is here to throw it up to the rest of you all who might want one to have or just for parts.
Asking $3500 - 168k miles
It is a 2004 SLT with leather seats and all the fancy doo dads, hey it even has one of those new fandangles CD players in it. No more 8 track or tape playing for you, heck no, you get the cream of the crop LOL
Interior is still in great shape. Little wear on the drivers seat from use, But I kept the leather supple and cleaned.
It is in decent running condition. There are a few things that need to be worked on and replaced, of which I do have parts for it that will go with the vehicle..
Kept up on regular maintenance. Oil changes, filters and fluids changed. It also has new tires with less than 4,000 miles on them. Good Costco bought ones. Also has new brakes and rotors with less than 3,000 miles on them.
Straight up here is the ugly. exterior is for the most part okay. There are a few paint top coat coming off and some scratches. It was dinged in the front right fender as you can see in the photo. Doesnt affect the vehicle at all. The end links need tightened cuz heck we all know they work themselves lose. AC doesnt work all that well, but that boils down to the fan clutch needing replaced. I have parts for end links, fan clutch, water pump (might as well do it at same time) and I think I have belt and pulley system around somewhere too.
Overall it has been a fairly good vehicle with its hickups here and there, nothing too major. I just need more room and a truck bed for tools and such
