Hi all. New to the Envoy and have an issue with the Keyless Entry remotes.
Last week, the remotes stopped working, lost the rear wiper.
Assuming the LCM was bad, bought a new one from eBay. Put it in, did not fix issue.
Did some more homework and ended up finding broken wires in the liftgate hinge. repaired the wires and everything is working again except the remotes. I have 1 factory remote and 2 after markets. I go into programming mode, locks will not cycle when pressing lock and unlock on remote. Cannot get any feedback from the vehicle with any remote or either LCM.
I have 12v on the orange wires of 4 pin connector of LCM, blue data wire on the middle plug has continuity through the hinge. Same goes for the Ground coming through the hinge. All other functions and lights of the lift gate work.
What is needed for the remotes to work? There antennae is built into the board I am assuming,.
I am at a loss.
