Recently rebuilt the top end on the motor, I figured to change the axles while I’m at it only to find out the front driver axle seal and bearings are shot.. what is the best and easiest way to fix this (keep in mind I’ll be crawling underneath due to not having access to a hoist) so was finally able to call him and get some part #s one is a seal and the inner part is a bearing adjuster
#37 26054695 adjuster
#38 1925726 seal

Replacing the differential is going to be the easiest for that in my opinion. Dropping the oil pan is likely going to be in order to pull the diff off of the oil pan, and then reinstall.

Make sure you get the correct gear set for your truck. You can find the code for that in your glove box, GU6, GT4, or GT5. You could rebuild it, but I think it would be easier just to replace it. The front diffs can be had fairly reasonable thru Ebay, LKQ, or do it yourself yards are going to be the cheapest.
