Working on my daughter's 2003 Envoy LT. It has no air coming out of the dash vents, only out of floor and defrost vents. I thought the mode actuator was the problem, but after changing it and problem persisted, I'm wondering if the Defrost actuator also controls airflow to the dash vents. Anybody have any ideas on that theory? BTW I have already run thru the recal procedure numerous times.
!! I changed out the defrost actuator at first instead of the mode actuator. My first clue should have been that the new actuator had the toothed cam on it, and when I removed what I thought was the mode actuator, it didn't have that cam, My big error was that I was counting 2 actuators from the edge of the knee panel, the blend actuator was hidden by a large harness.
