2002 Surburban 4x4, 2500. Front Differential Vent tube Leaking oil at top.

It's not leaking alot. Just enough to ooze down and drip on the frame and sway bar area. It appears the check valve at the top of the vent tube is leaking. Any fixes for this other than a new check valve.?

Wouldn't the check valve just keep water from going in? It should allow heated air out.
