2002 GMC Envoy will not start

1 - Battery is fully charged
2 - Key turns in ignition when foot is on brake
3 - Headlights, dashlights all accessory lights function
4 - Starter will not crank in Park or Neutral

Fuse???
Ignition Problem??
Faulty starter??
Alternator???

HELP!!!

I have not had this problem, and some one with the correct information will show up.
Could be a fuse or starter relay, under hood fuse block.

Could be anything except the alternator. Do you have a voltmeter and any electrical troubleshooting experience?

I tried all of the suggestions I could find here and on Google.

I finally tried crossing the two bolts on the starter solenoid and it turned over and started. That was this morning and it has started about five times more since then. Everything is working as it should.

I am thinking it may be a loose wire at the solenoid? Does that sound like it may be it?

Any suggestions on tightening elsewhere?
