The fun never ends with them old trucks!

One of the interior details/minor issues I'd like to fix is the failed unfold stop under the driver's seat armrest.
It won't stop about 2-3 inches above the seat belt buckle, like the passenger-side one. I think that whatever stop fixture is beneath the seat cover, it's broken or misaligned.
Note that when I deploy the armrest while pushing it just a bit outward, it seems to be hitting that stop fixture.

How should I get to fixing this? Note - my seats are cloth, not leather.

I would love to help, but I have no idea what your saying??

I "think" my Yukon has a fold-down armrest for the right side, next to the center console.

Can't be sure about that as I never use such things.

Maybe this is what the question is about?

A picture or two would help.

This is exactly the same seat w/fold-down armrest and center console configuration as on my truck.
As you can see, the armrest is unfolded here. Mine sags down to the belt buckle.
