Just checked the oil on my Envoy. 191K miles. Didn't realize I had 2600 miles on it since did an oil change. 5W/30 Mobil One Synthetic. Needed a quart to bring it back to full on the horrible yellow dipstick....so difficult to read sometimes. Anyways....one quart topped it off. Would this be considered excessive? Haven't done my top engine cleaning with the A.C. Delco product yet. Would this possibly help reduce oil consumption? Thanks for any input.

You didnt mention 4.2 or 5.3.. If a 5.3, thats actually better than expected. 4.2, not sure.

Horrible yellow dipstick, that would be an early 4.2. You can replace it with a later year metal dipstick. Straight swap.

Maybe a tad high if there aren't any leaks. Keep monitoring. Could also be the oil itself. Some oils just burn easier than others. I know Hondas don't like synth and burn it like crazy. Maybe switch to a high mileage oil. Check the plugs for oil burning.
