08+ conversion?

Hey has anyone tried to do a 08+ LT grill conversion into a 07 tarilblazer? Just wondering how hard would it be? Has anyone tried it yet?

i was just getting ready to post this question bc i am wanting to do this on my 03 TB i just like the front end of the 08+ better and what got me thinking about it was a guy i work with has an 06 TB but he said the person he bought it from had a front end accident and that they put the new style front end on it...and he is right it looks like an 08+

what all would a guy need? headlight mounting panel and a different steel reinforcement bar? and i know the obvious would be the headlights and grille assembly

Bumper, Grille and headlights, are all you need. Its all plug and play.

No. You would need to buy an SS bumper too with all the components needed.

You can use an SS Grille, LS Headlights, and the 06+ LT bumper, Those will fit together.

SS/LT exterior conversion is on my to-do list this year. Not much to it at all.

If you want the full LT conversion, you'll need the bumper, fog lights (if you don't already have them), the spacer that goes between the bumper and impact bar underneath the grille area, the two plastic mounts for the lower corners, the air deflector that goes underneath the bumper, grille, and headlights. You can also do it with an SS grille and keep your "LS" headlights. I did it that way on my old 02:

Oh, just so you know that is the 06+ LT bumper, not 08+, and the rear bumper was also updated.

Black Rhino Keros, they're discontinued now. I kept them and they're on my SS now.

im in the process of getting my parts list togather, and i have currently have the smoke headlight covers for my 03 LS headlights and i really like having them i was wondering if they make them for the full headlight (the one without the crossbar)

They look similar to what is there, but they aren't the same. They're cheap for new ones.

i have been looking on eBay and have found only the steel reinforcement bumper, could someone maybe point me in the correct direction...

sorry for my ignorance im just not finding it

You won't find them on eBay. Here is the complete list of part numbers, but depending on what you start out with it may vary:

I bought a used grille since it was much cheaper that way, but the bumper I didn't want to risk getting damaged in shipping (plus shipping would have been ridiculous). If you start out with an LT that already has fog lights you can reuse them instead of buying new ones.
