I swapped to a trailblazer ss rear axle. This 3.42 axle had 102000 miles on it and was functioning perfectly. I've owned the vehicle since new. I changed the fluid at 60K and used Amsoil Severe Gear. Internals looked fantastic and it was really really clean in there. No leaks, SC vehicle it's whole life so there isn't much surface rust at all, nice and clean, stored indoors. No backing plates included. Located in Greenville, SC. $300...make an offer.

Not interested, but I know I would need to know if it came out of a Short Wheel Base, or Long Wheel Base.

Short wheelbase trailblazer LS.

Should I make a yard trailer out of this thing?

Generally the 8.6 out of an extended wheelbase is more desirable. Your local market will determine how long you have it for, or is someone really needs it. But 3.42 + 8.0 is pretty undesirable. Good luck with you sale.

Man, I'd LOVE to have that axle, it's just what I need to swap into my Envoy. I just can't do it right now. The trip wouldn't even bother me, its just finding the time and resources. :frown:
