'05 Envoy - Can't read odo or gear selector

'05 Envoy 220,000 + miles. The odo and gear selector lights are so dim I can't read them. In total darkness they're barely readablle. Is this easily fixable if I were to take out the cluster and get it apart? I know there are videos on line but most are for older models than mine or different problems
