'00 Yukon XL Seats Problem

Hello All,
Pulled leather seats out to get recovered. Everything worked, i.e. power and heat prior to removal. Now that I've re-installed them, I have problems but fuses all check good.

Only way that power driver's seat works is if I leave power to passenger seat disconnected. No heat on driver seat but power works. Heat on passenger seat works but no power when connected -- and connecting up the power to pass side makes driver seat not work. Seat belt is fastened and I'm sitting in the seat, too.

What have I done? Does this mean the controller under the seat is the problem? Any help greatly appreciated...

Did you double check the grounds?

So, there's 12V at the harness coming up from the floor on passenger side. Does that mean the ground connection is okay?

You'll have to find the wiring schematic for your truck (sorry, I don't have them). There's obviously something amiss, maybe a broken wire or ground connection.
