    Unknown Driver

First, holy thread revival. You may get more answers if you link this thread while starting a new one. Second, I actually had this happen to my escalade yesterday. No cabin lights, remote didn't work, dash doing the same thing etc... I hit the power button on my radio though and everything came...

What did you do to your GMT today?

Well the sad thing is the owner is the one who did it and then came back to fix it. It seems like the weather stripping along the doors, the trim, isn't flush to the glass and that's the problem. He's done about 12 for us in the last 2 years. Edit: for clarification he did for me at my aunts...

What did you do to your GMT today?

Got the truck back. Noise is a little better maybe. Why me.

    Whistles while I brake.

Hit me up when you do it. I may be able to coordinate something with the tech 2. Also, as long as you bleed the lines well the brakes will be good enough, probably no worse than they are now.

    Whistles while I brake.

I'd say the master took out the booster. The stripped paint is a tell tale sign. Not sure on the 360s but on the full size it ain't too bad, the hardest part is getting to the friggin bolts under the dash. And getting the brake switch back on is terrible too if you have adjustable pedals.

What did you do to your GMT today?

Drove it to work. Was nice looking through a brand new windshield... Then I hit 55 mph and the thing whistled like the intro to Back in the USSR... It is going back tonight. Why is it always my crap that gets effed up.

    WANTED 4l65e

Why does everyone think their 200k mile pulled from the truck as is 4l60/65 is worth 1,100$. For 1500$ I could buy a new one. I have no clue how people pick up 400$ 6.0l LS engines either. Just for the hell of it anyway, they're 800+ well north of 200k miles. Some peoples kids.

    Trailblazer coming back... sort of...

Well it's small, medium small, medium, medium large and larger then large. Or, trax, TB, equinox, traverse, blazer, then tahoe. I think that's how it works anyway.

    Trailblazer coming back... sort of...

I was referring to the cruze lol. The trax isn't horrible.

    Trailblazer coming back... sort of...

Well they only actually build 1 SUV. Remove the frame and it's a crossover. But I agree. I can fit in a cruze (TRAX) but it's the most uncomfortable I've ever been in a vehicle. The vette is easier to get out of than that thing is.

    Trailblazer coming back... sort of...

Bet they dont wanna hurt Tahoe sales either. In its prime they sold almost 2 Trailblazers for every tahoe. That's why the blazer is the abortion it is.

    Trailblazer coming back... sort of...

What the actual hell GM. https://www.motortrend.com/news/chevy-bringing-back-trailblazer-name/ "Slotted between the Trax and Equinox" so a compact midsize... why. Because those two weren't turds enough as it was you had to add in something else?

    PcmofNC

Same as those guys. I think I ziptied mine up by the battery. Also, I'm in the minority here as I never had my sais codes pulled. However at 210k and 14 years old, it still works as it should. If it breaks I'll remove it.

    2000 GMC Sierra C3500 Build

Lots happened this weekend. We filed down the balancer so it seats all the way, that seemingly fixed 90% of the leaks. I buffed the boxes then laid floorpolish on the base because there is no clear left. Overall I forgot how much of a beast this thing is. Drove it 150 miles to work without a...

Took her to work. Have to say, floor polish for a clear coat substitute is decent.

    95 Silverado 16 to 17" Wheel Upgrade

As long as you have travel before the bump stops and the CVs aren't bent over and the ball joints are at a reasonable angle there isn't a problem using the keys other than a rougher ride. Just make sure the front end was aligned after raising it otherwise you'll run through tires. The whole...

    95 Silverado 16 to 17" Wheel Upgrade

On the 2500s, I know 265/75r16 looks nice at stock height and 285 is about as large as you can go before rubbing without changing things.

Vortec 4200 swap into a Checker cab part 1

The turbo 400 would be cool. If he does a 700r4 you may as well just go to a 4l60 st that point. Same pile of garbage but with computer controls. The 400 is pretty hard to kill but you'd need to somehow add in the vacuum port for kickdown...

Anti-sieze dope on fan clutch threads?

89 inch lbs is correct. It's an aluminum housing. I grease my fan clutch threads.

Issues with boring the I6 .020 over?

What he said. Generally sleeved blocks end up being resleeved or exchanged in my experience.
