    What are you doing today?

My upper back is none too happy with me today. Getting that O2 sensor changed out put a little more strain on me than I thought. Pain meds are helping, but typical Monday BS at work is offsetting it. At least the day is halfway over.

Engine Monitoring Feedback: Lazy O2 Sensor?

Swapped out the O2 sensor and ran some errands. Torque shows the same behavior out of the replacement sensor, so that's not it. Anybody have any other ideas?

What came in your mail today?

Yeah the majority of the stores near me don't have the AC Delco available for pickup, they're mostly ship to store/home. The one that does, wants twice as much for it, so I'll give this one a shot then.

    What are you doing today?

Bit of a carry over from last night... Was winding down for the evening, stepped into the bathroom and noticed something on the floor next to my foot. Glance over, and it moved, startled me pretty good lol.... I think I've seen this little guy in the back yard along the fence a few times. He...

What did you do to your GMT today?

After PB blasting the O2 sensor the previous 2 nights, I decided to see how much it was going to fight me, and if I needed to spray it again tonight. The AC hose and transmission dipstick were conveniently in the damn way for me to use my breaker bar, but I did manage to get a couple of passes...

What came in your mail today?

Got my O2 sensor from Amazon today, open the box and find anti seize all over the threads, sensor, and plug. I'm assuming this is used, unless these are suppose to ship like that. I'll send this back, and pick one up locally tomorrow. On the way home from work, stopped off at HF and...

    My '11 Caprice PPV

Yeah, I knew why they did it, but I just assume they could detach the linkages inside the door, like they did with Moose's, all the same. Not that it would be very hard to put in new handles for folks like us who like modding (assuming they aren't hard to come by), but it seems like more work...

    My '11 Caprice PPV

Any updates for this thread? It's been a minute. :tiphat: I was looking at one of these online today (I need to stop doing that) that's local, and noticed they put sheet metal plates where the rear interior door handles go. Guess they didn't want to risk someone breaking them from yanking...

    LS2 Rat Rod Build

I don't think the idea of someone dying in these cars would have immediately crossed my mind either... And then I saw pics 3, 4 & 7 in this auction, and it's all I could think about. https://erepairables.com/salvage-cars-auction/chevrolet/corvette/vid-34525196

    More PIDs for Torque App

I used the fan speed PID from the first post in my 05 EXT with the 4.2L and it works nicely. Thanks for sharing!

Engine Monitoring Feedback: Lazy O2 Sensor?

I was considering this, and wondering where my can was, since I haven't used it in a while. Thanks for the confirmation.

Engine Monitoring Feedback: Lazy O2 Sensor?

That's the type I was looking at too, for the same reason. Did it come out easily, or did you have to run the engine to warm it up, or spray penetrating fluid to loosen the threads?

Engine Monitoring Feedback: Lazy O2 Sensor?

Yeah, mine definitely isn't responding very quickly. Guess it's time to invest in an O2 sensor socket.

Engine Monitoring Feedback: Lazy O2 Sensor?

OK, as some of you remember, I had some concerns about my engine's behavior following a transmission and water pump replacement a couple months ago. I've been looking at Torque from time to time while on the road, as well as looking at other people's threads and screen shots when I noticed...

    Radio will not turn off

Retained Accessory Power, basically keep certain features powered on, after the key is switched off, until one of the doors is opened, or 10 minutes passes, whichever happens first.

What did you do to your GMT today?

Popped the door panels off, removed the side mirrors, and put the stock mirrors back in temporarily. Maybe 6 or 7 years ago, the turn signal lenses got knocked off in a roll through car wash and the plastic posts on the underside of the mirror where the lenses screw in, were snapped off at the...

question about wheels and tires size

This is the combo I have, ran it briefly before adding a 2" lift to the front. Coming down over large speed bumps, or curbed driveways, caused the front tires to rub the top of the fender liner. Only had a couple of inches of clearance under there, as you can see from the pic. Previously, I...

    NEED HELP Rain guard question

The in-channel ones I put on my EXT, I bought from ebay many years ago. I believe they are auto vent shade as well.... I modded the rear pieces to fit the back tab inside in the window track by shaving down the bottom edge into a thin wedge shape. Originally, it's supposed to stay on the...

    What are you doing today?

First meeting went great. Dug into some data, and came across some trends worth investigating. Other meeting... I sat in the meeting room staring at the wall for 5 minutes, before going to see where people were at. Boss' office was dark, and someone told me she was in with HR...

    What are you doing today?

First day of back to school morning traffic. Oof, I don't miss this! Made sure to leave about 10 minutes earlier than usual to miss some of the school zones and bus stops. Made it to work in about 30 minutes (had been 15-20 all summer) instead of the 45 that's typical during the school year...

    DJM Upper control arms

Hey Ken, you might check with Tony @ TBSSowners. I know he has a custom set of upper arms for lowering our platform. Looks like his store is out of stock at the moment, but a newer version is in the works. https://tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=14

    Dim Map/Reading Lights

@Toiyabeshawn any chance you could post some pics of the interior with the blue/white combo setup? :undecided: Thanks for finding a pretty easy fix for this issue, this should come in handy for future people who might run into it.
