Yeah, the Hayden was dethroned as the best cost vs. quality. One member compared between Hayden and ACDelco electro-viscous clutches and the latter was a much better build quality and operated according to specs. The thermal will likely be the same and will last longer.

It's normal for steering to be hard and getting crow hop while turning in 4x4 and on solid asphalt. The system gets bound up without any give in the wheels to allow for different front and rear wheel speeds which happens when you turn the front wheels. 4x4 should only be engaged on loose dirt...

How are you trying to program the BCM? Using Tis2000? ACDelco SPS? Both of which you would just use the Tech 2 as a passthrough.

I went from an 02 to an 06 to an 07 so all years and engines are good for me but, it in all reality, these will be getting harder to find in acceptable condition, at least anywhere in the rust belt. I have a feeling this will be my last one.
