New (COMPLETE KIT) "GYMKO" GM Tech 2 Scan Tool

The Tech 2 will not work at all on anything 2014+ Yes, better to wait. Wouldn't want to possibly double your troubles. Only way I would see possibly getting it without raising the attention of the border boys is to have it sent without any stickers or CDs or anything identifiable as a brand...

    4WD Disconnect - bad gasket

I was looking at it at night so I missed that. Sure looks like the diff is leaking then. Same recommendations apply.

    Catch cans

On a V8, it might be worth it. Not sure if it would on the 4.2. It does have a vacuum line from the intake manifold to the crankcase but the vent hose under the resonator box connected to the valve cover, which is the one that spews the most crud. You can even find a pool of oil in the box...

Power to a swiched fuse with key off

Take care buddy and I feel your pain. I had them for 20+ years and I was the same. Only narcotics would work for me. So thankful that I have outgrown them.

NEED HELP Fuel line leaking at pump???

Probably easier just to swap out the seals. Otherwise, you have to cut the connector and use a union to join.

No Blower 1 - 5 speeds. Blower tests good.

Sorry, I'm not that familiar with the manual system yet as I have had autos previously and haven't had issues with my manual one yet. Maybe someone with more experience than me can chime in.

    4WD Disconnect - bad gasket

You are correct that there is no oil in the disco so the oil is possibly coming from the differential seal failing. That would mean pulling the diff to replace the seals. Another possibility is that it's coming from a leaky oil pan seal just above. A smell test of the leaking oil will confirm...

NEED HELP Fuel line leaking at pump???

On the inside of that connector, there are two o-rings and a plastic spacer in between them. If o-rings and/or spacer need replacing, might need to buy a whole replacement connector to get them.

Replaced LCA and balljoints, truck pulls to the right when braking

I'd still get it aligned again. Changes in new vs worn parts as well as the loose UBJ will make your current alignment invalid.

    ICE POSSIBLE at 60 degrees?

1st, when you replaced the head unit, was it the exact same one and programmed for your truck? same year? 2nd, bad outside temp is usually caused by a faulty outdoor temp sensor, located in upper left in front of the radiator/condenser. However, I have a feeling there's something with the HU.

Power to a swiched fuse with key off

If there's a pick-a-part nearby, PCM's can be had pretty cheap. Just a security relearn and good to go. I agree, parts shotguns should be banned

You might also need the parking bracket but I may be wrong.

NEED HELP 2007 Trailblazer fan clutch questions

It's controlled by the PCM. Uses different data like engine temp, A/C operation, possibly vehicle speed. This chart actually gives fan speed vs. temp and A/C pressures: He is kinda right about the throttle and fan thing but only regarding issues with the 5v reference line as they share it...

Power to a swiched fuse with key off

Oh for sure. Just going through the process of elimination. Could also be a bad connection. It would really narrow it down.

Power to a swiched fuse with key off

Which is why I suggested he disconnect the PCM as an overnight test. You could also pull fuse 26, use a couple of small wires in the fuse connectors and measure the amps across the terminals. DO NOT SHOVE THE MM LEADS INTO THE FUSE CONNECTORS. You will destroy them. Or better yet, use a...

Power to a swiched fuse with key off

It is normal, when the ground side circuit is open (ground not sent to the solenoid by the PCM), that you would see 12v+ on both sides of the solenoid connector. The solenoid is basically a wound wire inside so gives continuity, kinda like a light bulb. I'm also leaning towards the PCM. Since...

    Sway Bar link washer

How much torque did you use? First couple of years, GM had a lower torque value and had problems with them getting loose and egging the holes. I had the same problem with my first TB. I wound up just using the breaker bar with red Loctite.

Power to a swiched fuse with key off

It's a common SAE bolt size (can't remember the size). For the terminal, maybe just a wire held with locking pliers would work or a battery clamp.

Power to a swiched fuse with key off

OK, it might look like we're getting PO'd but we're not. I think we're just as frustrated as you are. You may be doing it but I think we're lacking details as to results you're getting. So far, these are what's missing: a complete parasitic draw test. Which circuit dropped? if fuse 26...

    What are you doing today?

Nice find! May be worth creating its own thread to get some help.

Replaced LCA and balljoints, truck pulls to the right when braking

ANY play is not good. It will only get worse. I had your issue except it was my lower A-arm bushings that were shot on one side. Good alignment shops would not do an alignment on a vehicle that has any slop.

NEED HELP 2007 Trailblazer fan clutch questions

There's actually nothing extra for the PCM to handle. It's just to turn off the fan error codes. You can even put a thermal clutch in now and live with the CEL until you get it tuned.

New (COMPLETE KIT) "GYMKO" GM Tech 2 Scan Tool

If I were you @Maverick6587 , I'd hold off until we hear more. They are all identical to the real thing except that the stickers are not affixed to it. And since they know the real ones are made in the USA, not China, they are clueing in on them. Heck, I'd even get nervous about bringing mine...

Power to a swiched fuse with key off

Are you following our instructions and requests? It's difficult to keep helping if you don't do as requested. We're trying to go in a methodical manner to eliminate things now that we have the correct schematics. You have to do a proper parasitic draw test. You can pull fuse 26 first if you...

NEED HELP C0321/4x4 issues on silverado

Roadie has been inactive for a few years now and unfortunately, I don't have any real experience with the Silvy's 4x4 system. If it's anything like the TB's, you could try using this thread from the GMT360's: 4WD not working? Step inside.
