Will this mess up my truck?

I have a question?

So I needed to replace a few parts in the front end of my truck.
CV joints, lower stabalizer bars and bushings, lower ball joint and struts.

Now do to the crappy weather I was only able to change the driver side.
I'm going to do the passaqnger side on Saturday.

I'm finding lots of play in the front end now. I know I need an alignment but will wait till the job
is complete.

Am I causing any damage by driving the truck with no alignment?

You'll damage the tires, but not the suspension parts. Depends on how much the toe-in is off.

What makes you think you have play, though? New parts on one side only should not INTRODUCE play that wasn't there already. Did you see evidence of looseness in the ball joints or tie rod ends by wiggling the tire while it was in the air?

Did you replace inner or outer tie rod ends as part of the project?

I had play in the cv drive and loads of grease a around the frame, also had lots of play in the bushings and on the lower strut mount. Tires also had 2 inches of wear on the inside of the tire.
Outer tie rods got changed about a year ago.

Seems like I have to correct my steiring wheel if I hit a bump.
