Had one of the better thrill rides of my life recently. Mid-October weather was awesome and a couple friends (both mechanics) decided to take their boats out for one last spin up the Rideau Canal. I brought along my camera to take shots of the first guy's boat in front of his favorite hangouts, The Galley Restaurant. They now use one of them as their Facebook page cover pic.

The other guys boat was a tad more outrageous, amounting to little more than an engine on a piece of plywood - 505 c.i, 800 hp, boat weighs 540 lbs.

Try hanging onto a fully configured DSLR at 60mph+ with one hand while you're hangin' on for dear life with the other, twisted around snapping pics, all while the boat is still pulling hard!! Out of 450 shots, I have more than a few that were blurred or where the camera was pointing totally away from where I wanted it:
