Trying a little something with the tail lights.
Found what were chrome covers on amazon. Started sanding the hard as hell chrome finish.

Will end up painting them body color (white)
If I do not like them I can just pop them off

Thanks! These trucks are amazing, the shape and size of the tail lights are huge IMO though.
I will be posting photos when they are finished. Still a bit cold here in MN.
I can paint and bring it inside, but they did a REALLY good chrome job on these covers, its a pain to sand.

Looks kind of neat with the sanded chrome, little bit of a RatRod look..

Along the same idea, what about just plasti-dipping the tail light in the same way? This is giving me ideas for the Saab too.

I was thinking about plasti-dip but my motivation for that idea stopped there. Did not feel like taking the time to tape things off (now its biting me in the ass because this chrome is so hard to sand)

I had a few ideas about those Saab tails too. Wanted to pop a set in my Rainier. Damn hard to find!! You hoarding them all up there in Canada?

They'd look sweet if you could take them apart like a headlight and paint the chrome inner part black or body color.
