Good meeting everyone. If the wipe new doesn't hold up the best thing to do is use the plastic trim paint. I did my rear bumper, and the running boards its been well over a year and its held up really well. No chipping, peeling.

Jimmy and I were back down at the AFB again, this time to install the Brakemotive kit on Ceasar's truck, and the Big 3 upgrade.

Up on the lift, wheels off...

Yeah, having that lift was pretty sweet. Far cry from me using a jack and stands in my driveway to troubleshoot noises today

Ceasar, you should post some pics of your rotors, now that the fire path is cleaned off.

:tequila: Gotta remember to eat first next time. :nono:

At least with all that drinking out of my system, I won't have a high ass tab at UFC tonight like I did the last time. :Lager Louts:

Yeah, I'm not a beer guy either. I was having 2 shots of Cuarenta Y Tres (honey liquor) and 2 shots of goose, with either OJ or cran lemonade. The honey liquor takes the bite out of the vodka, so it drinks really easy. A little too easy if you're not careful, which I wasn't. :duh:

I'm pretty sure Jimmy will be holding this over my head for many years to come

So this time, Carlton and Jimmy decide to do some tailgating before the Bucs/Ravens game. Everything started out great, had the grill going...

20130808_181625_zpsfddb4deb.jpg

Table was all setup...

20130808_181425_zps5ad959ea.jpg

A little drinky drink (less than last time )

20130808_181416_zps3a9239be.jpg

And some shade to keep cool until the clouds showed up

20130808_183223_zpse499947c.jpg

After having some burgers and dogs, we head inside to get to our seats.

20130808_191723_zps4cc5c185.jpg

Snap a couple pics to show off to our friends who we know would be jealous...

20130808_191755_zpseb951b03.jpg

20130808_191813_zps20300794.jpg

And then the rain came in the 2nd quarter. Not too big of a deal, we headed downstairs and got a spot in front of a TV until it let up. Got back to our seats, and laughed at this annoying ass Ravens fan who got kicked out of the stadium. Apparently drinking beer at only 17 years of age is frowned upon. :nono:

Fast forward to the end of the 3rd quarter, and we decide to rollout. Or try to at least. Long story short, someone got stuck in the mud, and although they own the proper tools and utensils to get out, none of them were in the vehicle. Some good samaritans stopped by to try to help, but without ropes or chains, no dice. Eventually we got a tow truck out there, but he was giving his truck too much gas, spinning his tires, and got stuck too. He had to use his flat bed repeatedly to get himself to a good spot where he could winch us out. All in all that added about 45 minutes to our night, but it felt like about 2 hours.

I now feel motivated to buy tow straps, and those recovery boards to stick under your tires, and keep them in the cubby hole in my truck, just in case.

Met up with Angel and Jimmy at Quaker Steak today for lunch.

Picked up some Amsoil goodies from Angel for some maintenance next week since I'm gonna be off.

Jimmy also brought Yumi along, who may become another regular mini meet attendant  (and yes, she was a chick magnet)

Today, I met up with Carlos and we headed down to the air force base to use the auto hobby shop for a brake job. Couldn't take tons of pics like usual cuz Jimmy wasn't there to do most of the work

Only one of the pads was worn down to the wear indicator, the rest had plenty of pad left, but we changed them all anyway. Replaced a burnt out fog light, and checked out the EBCM's location while the XUV was up there. Repair shop quoted him an $500 in labor to swap it, and it does look like a PIA to remove. All in all took us about 2 hours between working and chatting with some of the other guys who were there.

20140118_100801_zps30udrjdo.jpg

I did forget to draw some of the brake fluid out from the master cylinder, so compressing all of the caliper pistons caused it to leak out of the top :duh: Wiped down what we could reach and went on our merry way.

Yeah man, having a lift at your disposal is pretty sweet. Makes me Jealous that Carlos and Cesar have access, although they cut their hours way down. Only open Thursday Friday and Saturday now.

Just wanted to stop by and say hi. I live in Kissimmee but I do the vast majority of my car-related stuff in the Tampa area. I can pretty much drive I-4 in my sleep. :dielaugh:

I'm sure I'll be hungry, so hopefully you'll be fashionably late. I'll probably text you when I'm headed over there and see where you guys are at.

My Dragon dictation on my phone quit on me while I was driving I was not being short. I don't text and drive. I have a few things to do tomorrow and have to get some parts off my MR2. In other words I may not make it but I will try.

Well, I asked you in the form of a yes/no question, so a short answer is acceptable.
