Stabilizer bar end link loosening up

Last fall I replaced all four of the stabilizer bar end links on my truck. I have read all the stories about them becoming loose. For the last week or so I have been hearing a clunk on the left front when going over bumps, so I took a look tonight after work. Sure enough, the left front stabilizer bar end link's lower bolt was loose. Torqued to spec and I am sure it will be quiet tomorrow morning going to work.

The question I have is why do they get loose?

Incredible force, missing loctite, and GM misdesign that they finally fixed in 2008.

^^^ That's true ^^^

I would put some Loctite on it if you think it will come loose again. Two things I almost always use; Loctite or Never Seez.

The biggest advantage to ripping my rear sway bar off was to shut it up, even more of an advantage than the additional flexibility to me. God do I hate rattles. They make my $3,000, 238,000 mile truck sound like a real piece.
