Slight rear axle seal leak

Just soliciting some opinions. When I did my rear brakes the other day I noticed that there was a slight leak from the passenger rear seal. I have 200,000km and changed the factory fill out approx. 70,000km ago in the diff. Anyways there may have been less than half a teaspoon worth of oil sitting in the parking brake housing. The residual dust soaked most of it up. The axle shaft did not look wet or shiny from any fluid either. The driver side was bone dry.

I know that some seals will weep a bit over time but wondering if you guys have similar issues. Thanks

Change the seal now, you don't want a fluid leak on your brakes. It WILL get worse.

Yup, what he said. Axle seal leaks will only get worse.

I thought my axle seal was leaking similarly once and found my ABS sensor was actually the root of it. Cleaned up the seal on it and reinstalled and no more fluid.

thanks, I will check the sensor first and I looked at the process of replacing the seal and other than time it is not to complex for me to do.
