Re- Plastidipping

So the summer is around the corner and i am trying to get the voy back in pristine condition. My wheels currently have 3-4 coats of black plasti dipp on them (about a year old), it is starting to peel in small areas 1/4 inch at most. What is my best option? Do i need to peel off all the old dip and completely re spray all four wheels. Or can i cut patches out of the problem areas and hit each wheel with another coat or two as a refinish?

I am not 100% sure here, but I would think that cutting sections out and putting another coat would show that line that you cut because the lack of material.
I think it would be easiest and give better results to peel it all off and re-dip

I've also used V.M.&P. Naptha to thin the plasti-dip before. You can buy it at Home Depot or Lowes. It's normally located in the aisle with the Lacquer and Paint Thinners.
