Play in rear calipers

So I was doing a full brake flush today and noticed that both my rear calipers have some play in them. When I grab the top of the caliper, with my thumb at 9 and my four fingers at 3, I can rock it side to side(moves to the inside and to the outside of the vehicle)if that makes sense. It's not sliding along the pins, it seems more like it rocks on the pins. All bolts are tight.

Is it possible for the slid pins to become less in diameter, hence the possible rocking?

Just for the heck of it, did you try to take the slide pins out to make sure they weren't snapped in any way? It is unlikely but you never know. I would say to remove them and double check the condition of the pins.

Also if you can, can you get someone to help you so you can spin the wheel by hand and apply the brake to see if the caliper wants to pry upward when the brakes are applied?
