Hey Gentlemen!

Question...

My 97 C1500 will NOT move AT ALL! Nothing when put in drive or reverse HOWEVER, upon jacking up the truck, when shifted to the 3,2,1 gears, the back tires show slight slight movement (when on ground, they do nothing).

Also, the pump shows no sign of activity?
Checked tranny fluid, thats good.
Rpm's increase like nomal, just no movement.
No metal pieces or anything that looked as if the tranny gears where malfunctioning when I removed the pan.
Code reader only throws one code, P0304 (02 sensor).

Thanks for the help guys!

That's a misfire code for #4. Has nothing to do with the O2 sensor.

As for the tranny, sounds like it's in serious trouble. Need to check the pressure from the pump. The slight movement when it's jacked up is probably the residual drag through the main shaft. You'll likely need the help from a tranny shop.

Nice
My 2013 van just has 105,000 miles on it. Tranny went out… took it to a neighborhood shop since the guarantee was finished. They remade the tranny… figured out the engine and tranny mounts were exhausted. Supplanted them. The check motor light was on when I got the van back. Quick version… because of a not great exit from the spot… I took the van to a companion and he tried it.
