Good morning GM Truck Enthusiasts!!

Because this is the best GM Truck forum, we wanted to give you all advance insider information that the TrailBlazer will be returning to North America for the 2017 model year! Although it is still too early for details and pictures, what I can say is that it is NOT based on the current TrailBlazer built in Thailand. It is a whole new look and platform built on a full body-on-frame design.

We are very excited, as I'm sure you are too being GMT360/370 enthusiasts, on the return of this missing segment in the market.

More news to follow once all the details become available.

Nice this is the best GM Truck forum, WOW!! I guess this is not a mass message from GM on all the GM Truck forums online :blinkhuh:

Well I had to edit my post, after charging me $50 for membership that I didn't wanted or approved the GMTNation dropped as the best forum.

Still not crazy about the overseas body. Being honest the canyon and Colorado are the nicest looking trucks in the lineup imo. The full sizes are just too plush and bloated. They're nice but I wouldn't want to use one as a work truck you know?

Wrong. Says right in that article "However, new model is designed for some other specific markets such as Asia or Brazil. In United States, this model is not available."

Your quote was for the refreshed 2012 2013 models. That's how I read it. 2017 will return to NA.

It better not look like the "Trailblazer" in the foreign market, it looks nothing like it's namesake at all. Either way, it won't look as good as the origional Trailblazer's.

I'm not that big on them, they look weird
A lot of new things look weird. You should see the looks I get for my snowmobile, which kinda looks like a bug. It's a love it or hate it kind of look.

I think the new TB looks Ok. It's different.

I'd rather have the duramax TBH.... I'd get in less trouble.

I mean you have full size gm SUVs running sub 16 second quarter miles actually sometimes below 15 seconds depending on where you look... bone stock. If they were to bring it back I'd imagine gm could approach SS performance without the big 6.0l. Those days aren't long gone the need just isn't there as much.
